Driver Periodic CPC Training 

What is Driver CPC? 
The Driver CPC is for LGV (C1, C1+E, C or C+E licence) and PCV (D1, D1+E, D, D+E licence) drivers who drive professionally throughout the UK.  It has been designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PCV drivers throughout their working life. There are two parts to the legislation:
 
CPC Qualification
• The Initial Qualification must be achieved by new LGV and PCV drivers along with their vocational licence to enable them to use their licence professionally.
• Periodic Training; 35 hours of training every 5 years must be attended by all professional drivers.

We run our courses through the RTITB and therefore a member of the RTITB Master Driver CPC Consortium. All training material is from the RTITB and our Instructors are also RTITB qualified Instructors through either Driver Training or Forklift delivery. 

Module 4 - Driver CPC Certification

All new drivers for LGV & PCV if wishing to drive as a job, require a Drivers Qualification Card (DQC). To gain this they must pass a Case Study test (Module 2) and then pass a Practical Demonstration Test (Module 4). Once passed this will give you your first 5 years of qualification. 
Over the next 5 years, to carry on driving you will be required to undertake 35 hours of periodic training, to maintain your qualification 

Training & Testing

Here at Assisi Training, we offer full training to enable you to pass the Module 4 test for LGV & PCV. Once training has been completed, our on site assessor will take you for your test and issue you with a Pass Certificate. Your DQC will automatically be issued and sent to your home address.
